let's just keep it in the family shall we...

​We’d like to introduce our extremely talented nephew Isaac Kalinowski… who obviously has some familiar family traits… like he’s a gearhead!  Take a look at his work https://www.youtube.com/@ikalArt or contact him directly at [email protected] to bring your hot rod to life on paper... hat...shirt...hoodie...pants!  While I can draw a decent stick figure, Isaac happens to be an insane artist.  When his tools hit the paper stand back, the design inside becomes alive.  We are so very proud to have Isaac working with us on some of our top-rated customers’ builds, he is, like the builds he draws, one of a kind.  And that… is a perfect fit in our shop! – Tim Divers 

Isaac is a High School Art Teacher from Casper, WY. He also coaches several high school sports, including football, tennis, and basketball. He grew up one of five active brothers, with two younger sisters, always working with his hands and getting dirty. Isaac always enjoyed art, as well as creating things through building. One of his greatest joys is having the freedom to create art. He finds inspiration in family, friends, and hobbies, and translating what he loves into art, and sharing his artwork with others, is extremely gratifying for him. A favorite childhood memory is of the many family trips he took to Washington state, where he would visit Uncle Tim's Street Rod shop to see all the hot rods there. Isaac has always had an appreciation for the classics and the people who bring them to life. His love of classic cars is why he continues to include them regularly in his artwork. 

Artist statement: My passion in the arts continues to challenge me to be the best I can. I enjoy learning new ways to make art and help my students achieve their potential both in and out of my class. I strive to be the best I can be for myself and for my students, and I tell my students daily that I have the best job in the world. It is truly a privilege to teach something that continues to be my passion. The medium I use for the majority of my artwork is watercolor. When creating hot rods, I like to incorporate a sense of movement that causes the vehicle to look as though it is coming off the paper. At the same time, I love to capture the beauty of the car and communicate my deep appreciation for the classics.
